GUCCI will launch the fifth degree of charitable planning special accessories on Christmas day. It is going to raise fund for the UNICEF.
In China, Snowman in Africa and the special version of the Gucci gift cards will only be available for sale in Hong Kong shops. Revenue derived from sale in China will be contributed to UNICEF for aid to China by the HIV / AIDS epidemic affected children.

Gucci's fifth-degree fund-raising activities Gucci Campaign to Benefit UNICEF will be held during the Christmas and New Year festive season as usual as the core of promotion sales.
This year, Frida Giannini had commissioned the well-known writer and illustrator Michael Roberts wrote the sequel of Snowman in Paradise, which was published in 2004 as his masterpiece of children's books, as for the fund-raising planning for the 2009 Gucci Campaign to Benefit UNICEF.

Inspired by the magical illustrations of Michael Roberts' fascinating book Snowman in Africa, Giannini designed a series of exclusive accessories of Gucci for the UNICEF fund-raising. In both the new medium Gucci Joy handbags, the unique pictures of Roberts evolved into sophisticated graphics printing decals and light. The ornaments design is used with the role of the image in the story of children's books. Whether it is keychain or any accessories with the pendant can not make people put it down. The more interesting and lively form is the printing of small leather products of this series, including a wallet with wrist strap and zero wallet. This year's fund-raising planning had added a special version of the newly gift cards in denominations of HK from 3000 onwards. At the same time, it is also decorated with wonderful illustrations from the children's books. Joy handbags, ornaments, small leather goods and gift cards will be on sale from 2009 November 16 to December 31 at more than 20 countries' Gucci shops, while each product's 25% of sales proceeds will be contributed to the United Nations Children's Fund.
